NICRN celebrate International World Stroke Day – 29 October 2026

On Thursday 29th of October, the NICRN Stroke Team joined forces with the Stroke Association to raise awareness of stroke recognition in the Royal Victoria Hospital foyer.
The event highlighted the FAST message, helping staff, patients, and visitors recognise the warning signs of stroke and understand the importance of acting quickly. Thank you to Sharlene Graham from the Stroke Association for her support, and to Alyeah and Darragh, Pharmacy FTY students, who assisted with medication-related questions throughout the day.
