Belfast Trust ENCOMPASS Admin Team Training

A cohort of our NI Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre Team attended the non-clinical research training with ENCOMPASS at Musgrave Park Hospital.

ENCOMPASS will Go-Live in Belfast Trust on Thursday 6th June 2024. 

encompass is a Health and Social Care (HSC) wide initiative that will introduce a digital integrated care record to Northern Ireland.

This will support the Health and Social Care NI vision to transform health and social care in order to improve patient safety and health outcomes. By working more effectively and
efficiently through regional standardisation and best practice it will help create better experiences for those receiving, using and delivering services.

The encompass vision is for a digital health and care record for every citizen in Northern Ireland that better informs and supports their health and wellbeing throughout their life, is built on a digital platform that streamlines services and patient journeys and links information across primary, secondary, community and social care.

encompass will give patients and service users the ability to view and update their health information. It will also make it easier for Health and Social Care staff to view important information about their patients and service users.
