Jonathan when asked for comment said,
“ I am very honoured to have been nominated for this award. Receiving a Fellowship award for having been involved in aspects of vision science, optometry and ophthalmology, which I truly love, almost seems unfair. Anything I have achieved over a 40 year timespan has been achieved as a result of the dedication and commitment shown to me by colleagues, staff and indeed family, who have encouraged and supported me along my chosen career path”
Prof Jackson’s colleagues at the Clinical Research Network and the Optometry Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital wish him congratulations on such a prestigious and well deserved accolade.
