NHSCT Diabetes achieved FPFV in 4 days for ENITH-2

The ENITH-2 trial (part of the Phase 3 clinical program) is a major clinical study evaluating Enicepatide which is an investigational weekly injectable GLP-1/GIP dual receptor agonist, for adults with Type 2 Diabetes and obesity/overweight. It functions by mimicking naturally occurring gut hormones to suppress appetite and improve blood sugar levels.

ENITH-2 was given green light from R&D in NHSCT on Thursday 18th of June. Principle Investigator Dr Anna Strzelecka, along with the NSCHT Diabetes team of Moyra McMaster and Natalie Hanley screened and recruited their first patient on Monday 22nd of June, only 4 days following R&D approval.
