Professor Giuliana Silvestri Receives CBE Medal at Windsor Castle

Last July we celebrated our esteemed colleague, Clinical Director for Ophthalmic Services and NI Clinical Research Network Vision lead, Professor Giuliana Silvestri and her award of CBE for services to Ophthalmology and Eyecare in Northern Ireland.

Since then Prof Silvestri has received the Commander of the Order of the British Empire medal and attended Windsor Castle for the ceremony. She was joined by her husband and family.

Huge congratulations again to Prof Silvestri, CBE on this momentous day from your colleagues at the NI Clinical Research Network and Belfast Trust.
