World Prematurity Day with NICRN Children’s Team!

The NICRN Children`s Team held a stand on Monday 17th November in the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital to celebrate World Prematurity Day 2025 and to raise awareness of neonatal research in the Belfast Trust and Northern Ireland.

We teamed up with the clinical staff in the Neonatal Unit, who hold this event yearly in the baby clinic.
It was a great opportunity to get everyone together, lots of families… and not so little ones anymore visited. The event was a great success, and we would love to have the opportunity to collaborate with the neonatal team again for next year’s event.

We would like to thank especially the parents of our little participants of DOLFIN study who attended yesterday, and also PI Neonatologist Dr Rao for all her fantastic work.

Also, a special thanks to the Neonatal team for collectively working with and supporting the Childrens Research Team.
